| White Laced Red Cornish-Standard Chicken |
The base feather color is black with a greenish sheen. The neck
and upper breast feathers are white with dark narrow stripes
running the length of the feathers creating the appearance of a
lace collar. The chest will have a chevron type coloration
pattern on each feather, due to a delicate silver lacing around
the margin of each feather. The back feathers display the same
silver color pattern as the neck collar. The females do not
display color on their back.
.Cochin's are heavily feathered down the shanks and toes and
appear to be much larger than they actually are. They are very
gentle, excellent setters, and require little space.
The standard size for a Rooster is 32 ounces and the standard
size for a Hen is 28 ounces.
We suggest a feed ration of 20% protein, and a handful of
Scratch and Greens daily.
