All photos of birds and chicks are taken of our actual
birds. We do not use stock photos or go to shows to
take photos.
Personally any birds we would be interested in
purchasing we would wish to see the parent stock
and believe you would also like to see the parent
stock.
We are not professional photographers so our
pictures will not be perfect, but they will reflect a true
image. Please email if we can be of further
assistance.

"We are a small
hatchery so please
bear with us. We
are trying to keep
up with demand
but we are
restricted in that
good breeding
stock is hard to
find and slower to
develop and we
refuse to use
inferior breeding
stock simply to
increase our
production."
White Laced Red Cornish-Standard Chicken
|
Sebright Bantams originated in England during the early 1800's
by Sir John Sebright. These bantams have the unique
distinction of being the only chicken that is "Hen Feathered."
This means that the male, unlike other chickens, has no pointed
sex feathers in the hackle, saddle, or tail. These Buffs are a
light Golden-Bay color having each feather laced in black and a
rosecomb. Sebrights are considered True Bantams because
there is not a "Standard" or large version of the bird.
Sebrights are very small and docile making them good for
children to raise and show.
The standard size for a male is 22 ounces. The standard size
for a female is 20 ounces, non-broody and lays a creamy white
egg.
We suggest a feed ration of 20% protein, and a handful of
Scratch and Greens daily.
