| White Laced Red Cornish-Standard Chicken |
These beautiful fowl have been commonly raised along the Nile
river for centuries, maturing quickly and laying medium large
white eggs. The hens are non broody.
These birds, with their silver and white feather markings on a
black background, and their unusual voices, have made them a
pleasure to observe. The hens sound more like a Nanny goat
than a clucking hen. The young roosters often start crowing
around 6 weeks old.
Standard weight for males is 6 pounds, females 4.5 pounds.
We suggest a feed ration of 20% protein, and a handful of
Scratch and Greens daily.
