| White Laced Red Cornish-Standard Chicken |
Partridge Cochins are heavily feathered down the shanks and
toes and appear to be much larger than they actually are. They
are very gentle, excellent setters, and require little space.
The male's saddle and hackle feathers are a rich, brilliant
orange-red combined with a greenish-black body makes for an
extremely eye-catching bird.
The female is feathered with a glossy mahogany brown feather
penciled in black. The male and female have distinctly different
plumage.
The standard size for a Rooster is 32 ounces and the standard
size for a Hen is 28 ounces.
The hens are excellent setters, and lay a cream tinted egg.
We suggest a feed ration of 20% protein, and a handful of
Scratch and Greens daily.
