All photos of birds and chicks are taken of our actual
birds.  We do not use stock photos or go to shows to
take photos.

Personally any birds we would be interested in
purchasing we would wish to see the parent stock
and believe you would also like to see the parent
stock.

We are not professional photographers so our
pictures will not be perfect, but they will reflect a true
image.  Please email if we can be of further
assistance.

"We are a small
hatchery so please
bear with us.  We are
trying to keep up with
demand but we are
restricted in that good
breeding stock is
hard to find and
slower to develop and
we
refuse to use
inferior breeding
stock simply to
increase our
production."

Sliver Laced Wyandottes are the original Wyandotte.

Silver Laced Wyandottes are a large sized dual purpose breed
having been bred for utility as well as beauty.  Wyandottes are
heavily feathered making them well suited to Cold Climates, but
tolerate our Texas heat well.

Their plumage is a striking combination of Silvery White Open
Ovals Laced with lustrous Greenish Black.  The males and
females have similar color patterns, with the male's large, close
lying deep red comb giving the appearance that he is wearing a
hat.

These birds are beautiful to observe and a pleasure to be
around.  The Wyandotte breed are very calm natured and have a
gentle disposition.

These birds are excellent and dependable layers of very large
brown tinted eggs.

Standard weight for males is 8.5 pounds, females 6.5 pounds.

We suggest a feed ration of 20% protein, and a handful of
Scratch and Greens daily.
